Cookie Policy
Effective October 26, 2026.
This policy covers mspoutpost.com, mspbench.com and mspbriefing.com, run by User First Digital Inc.. It lists every cookie and tag we use, who provides it, what it does and its category. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Browser storage and tags work in a similar way, so we list them here too.
What Loads Before You Choose
Only strictly necessary cookies and storage load before you answer the cookie banner. None of them builds a profile of you.
| Provider | Name | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| User First Digital | ufd.consent (browser storage) | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. | Strictly necessary |
| User First Digital | ufd.member.session.v1 (browser storage) | Keeps you signed in. It is stored only if you sign in. | Strictly necessary |
| Cloudflare | Turnstile | Checks that a person, not a script, is sending a form. It runs only on pages with a form. | Strictly necessary |
| User First Digital | Newsletter link identifier | If you arrive from a link in one of our newsletters, we record that you visited. Nothing is stored on your device, and the identifier is removed from the address bar. | Always on, no cookie |
| Cloudflare | Web Analytics (mspoutpost.com only) | Counts page views and page speed. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, so it runs without a choice. | Analytics, no cookie |
Analytics Cookies
These are set only if you agree to analysis cookies.
| Provider | Name | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4: _ga, _ga_ followed by an ID | Counts visits and shows which pages are read and where visitors came from. | Analytics | |
| Microsoft | Clarity: _clck, _clsk, and cookies on clarity.ms | Records page interactions and sessions so we can find what is broken. | Analytics |
Advertising Cookies
These are set only if you agree to advertising cookies. The companies behind them also use what they collect for their own purposes. We may not run every one of these tags at a given time, and none of them loads unless you agree.
| Provider | Name | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta | Meta Pixel: _fbp | Measures whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits, and helps show our ads to people likely to be interested. | Advertising |
| Insight Tag: li_fat_id, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory | Measures the results of our LinkedIn ads and builds audiences for them. | Advertising | |
| Google Ads: _gcl_au and Google advertising cookies | Measures conversions from our Google ads and supports remarketing. | Advertising | |
| User First Digital | ufd.attr (browser storage) | Records the page and campaign you first arrived from, so a later form can be traced to the ad that brought you. | Advertising |
Other Categories
The banner also offers functionality cookies, social media cookies and device recognition for waitlists. These sites set none of them today. If we add any, we will list them here first. Some links to Amazon carry our associate tag. If you follow one, Amazon sets its own cookies on its own site.
Your Choices
The cookie banner offers Accept All and Choose. Choose lets you switch each category on or off. To change your mind later, use Your privacy choices in the footer of any page.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the banner leaves every optional category off and tells you so. You can still switch a category on yourself.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may then stop working.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
